Rush Limbaugh, behind the "scenes" question.

I'm curious to know how they put together one of Limbaughs shows. How big is his staff? Does Limbaugh have writers that write entire segments for him to read? How much is improvised? For how long do they prepare before a show?

I guess chances are that noone here knows but anyway....

I have no inside information but will guess that his staff consists of 100 monkeys with bananas and typewriters. :)

I think there's a handful of people in Florida. Once Rush said research (checking web sites and monitoring cable TV talk shows, basically) is divided up among a few people.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any writers. Mostly, Rush is ad libbing. He occasionally reads an article, but more often he seems to be paraphrasing.

There would also be one or more people transcribing the show for the website. Probably the same people who before the show do the prep work.
