Rush on 700 WLW?

I just heard on 700 it say "until the end of the week" or "until next week" and then it did the RUSH.. LIMBAUGH!!! sounder.

Not sure why they wouldn't just run a few more days of Burbank reruns in that case. Guess I could see them moving Rush to 700 but what in the world would they do on WKRC?

Actually wouldn't be the first time Rush was ever on WLW, as he was temporarily moved to the Big One during WKRC's (maybe WLWA still) coverage of the OJ Simpson trial. (I'm not counting the times Mike McConnell and Bill Cunningham subbed for Rush and that was simulcast on WLW).

There's no way they're moving Rush to WLW permanently. During virtually every stopset they played a "listen to Rush Limbaugh Noon to Three on 55 KRC" liner. They also referred to Rush as todays "mystery talker" so who knows, they could very well feature someone else tomorrow.

Without having any knowledge of the details but it could be due to the fact that Burbank's contract ended 12/31/07 and that the rights to use his material ended with that contract. Also, to be fair to whoever replaces Burbank, a week of "stunting" to provide a bit of buffer between the two shows wouldn't hurt either.

By the way WLW screwed up and put up the Rush ID's on XM earlier in the day (I listen to WLW on XM even though I live and work in Cincy).

On my xm it said Rush Limabugh, then, in smaller print on the bottom, 12-3 55KRC
