On a right-wing station like Rush Radio, "libertarian" is just a more friendly way of saying "just to the right of Albert Speer."
I wish Vladimir Petralinakovnishky all the best at Clear Jazeera's Triad outpost. As long as he can prounounce the words "constitution," "socialist," and "not one of us" he'll fit in just fine. I'm sure Boris Ivanovich will have some great insights, from being behind the Iron Curtain and all.
It's time Brad and Britt had some worthy competition. Let's all welcome Leonid Berlinish Apparachnik to North Carolina!

I question the wisdom of letting them just tee off on him on fb. How is that helpful to branding the new show? Plus, somebody said he was reading some of these comments on the air. BAD DECISION! I know you can't un-ring the bell (scrub listener comments), but at this rate, they'll have to fire him before the Super Bowl...maybe before the Rose Bowl
Can't wait to tune in tomorrow, the comments have drawn my interest! Along with the facebook page! "There's no such thing as bad publicity" is definitely coming to play for me to tune in.
But CC, if they care, which they probably don't might want to edit that facebook page so not everyone can post. Some people are going off. While I know everyone should be voicing their opinion, in the secretive world of radio firings and hirings this doesn't look good. They ousted Bill & Pam, of course without any notice and now their new hire is getting razzed for the entire public to view. I also love how the listeners are saying on facebook "What is Rush Radio thinking? Not one person mentioning Clear Channel.
Maybe this listener backlash thing can work out for them. I talked to a bunch of WZTK listeners who say "man I listen to Alan Colmes at night and I hate this, that, etc etc" and they still listen....

I need to find the old research about Howard Stern listeners .... in a nutshell it said ..... people who claimed to "hate" Howard listened 2 1/2 times longer than listeners who "loved" Howard ..... granted that was in a Diary world ..... but you know what ????? I can't stand Jack Murrphy (personally), but I often find myself listening just a little longer just so I have 1 more reason to despise him ......

First of all, you morons, Alan Colmbes is a professional radio personality. That means he is entertaining, witty and engaging; three qualities that are becoming more and more rare on talk radio, as the format devolved from an entertainment medium to a right wing echo chamber ("You better say out loud what I think about Obama! You just better! And you damn well better be a Christian!!").
I am surprised that Yakov Smirnoff has taken to reading Facebook comments about him on the air. I would have thought all those years at the Politburo would have trained him better. Never underestimate Clear Channel's habit of drooling into a paper cup and calling it broadcasting. Watching CC die a slow miserable death just may make me believe that there really is a just and righteous God.
As for the simpering lemmings who are outraged that Alexi Potemkin is not towing the Sean Hannity/Mark Levin/Laura Ingramn line, I humbly request that you please fix yourself a nice big Drano cocktail and drink up. Sure, you'll suffer a horrible death, but I can't think of a more noble gesture as we begin the new year. I can feel the overall intelligence of the universe inching up as we speak.

I must be the moron your talking about because I was the only person who mentioned Alan. Even though you mentioned "all". Also before you start calling people morons, you might want to use your Spell Check or simply know who you're talking about. It's Alan Colmes.
Also I never bashed Alan Colmes, I simply mentioned that some conservative talk listeners will listen religiously even though they hate him. That seems to be an early trend with the new Host at Rush Radio judging by the facebook page comments.
Instead of seeing one sentence you don't like and respond by throwing out reactionary non thought out statements, read what people say then respond.
