Helen Keller can see the allegations all over the usual right wing suspects who are using their boxes of crayons to try and draw lines between what Evan Cohen is accused of doing (who hasn't been a part of AAR for more than a year) and the Air America Radio that exists today.

Nobody questions there is funny business here, and if I was Evan Cohen or these city people, I'd be lawyer shopping right now. But only the most laugh-out-loud reply can come from anyone who doesn't think there is an agenda out there to broadbrush AAR into this as well. We have blog remarks like "liberals are stealing from the poor," and "Al Franken's company is ripping off taxpayers." The Hardly Equalizer is accusing the media of coddling AAR as part of some nutty liberal media plot.

That's your own scarecrow straw man. I never said AAR wasn't involved - they are by name and history. My problem was with those who claimed they were being "investigated" by the DOI and have been "implicated." That turns out not to be the case.

No, just common sense. It sounds more like AAR realized Cohen was a clown and jettisoned him as quickly as possible.

Apparently the right wing blogs who tout conservative, laissez-faire economic philosophy now have a new policy to hold current owners responsible for the bad acts of past owners. I won't be holding my breath for a renewed push of support for Elliot Spitzer, the SEC, FTC, and FCC.

In any event, today we find out that AAR management is going to clean up the mess Cohen left and repay any outstanding loan Cohen arranged with the club.

That sounds like the honorable thing to do.

So far, the only ones I have seen trying to make this into something involving the network generally are you and your ilk. Your rather juvenile attacks on so-called "right wing blogs" point you out to be really no different from those who you criticize, and furthermore demonstrate that you are less interested in discussing how this investigation relates to the radio business then using it as an excuse to once again bleat out ideological talking points.

No one but you was making such a claim.

Nevertheless, he was in charge of the company and may have broken laws in order to finance it. The idea that you can just brush that aside by attempting to disprove arguments no one has made is asinine.

blah blah blah...irrelevant political ranting.
