It's odd that the article mentions Sharpton being on conservative shows:

All of this is somewhat surprising coming from Sharpton who usually embraces debate as a frequent guest on conservative talk shows, but apparently is now eager to run to the principal’s office and have the FCC or Congress do the fighting on his behalf.

...but does NOT mention the fact that he has his own show on Radio One's Syndication One network.

Somebody may have gotten to Rush.

You'd have to listen as-much-as-I-do to notice -- and Rush himself may be the-only-one-who-hears-more-Rush-than-I-do, because I listen for a living -- but it seems like he's backed-off the racial stuff since Sharpton got on the FCC's calendar.
