"WEEI will say, “Look at our ratings.” Yes they are great, but if they are great based on content, not personalities, why was Ted Sarandis let go -- his ratings were great. But I assume he is gone because his show wasn’t exactly what they were looking for. Adams will step right in and get the same great ratings. Why? Because people in Boston love sports -- plain and simple. It is all right to admit it. They would also love sports on another station if it had a great signal and the Red Sox, and the critics gave it 14 years to compete." Ryen R.
<font color=blue> I'd have to agree. WEEI personalities are fungible. They have the RedSox,Bill Belischek, and a great FM sound: that's about all you need. Sarandis got great ratings but really,he was of no value. He was a sour apple and didn't dig the Bosox. Anybody would do well in that spot. Would Larry Johnson and M.Felger do as well as Dennis&Callaghan? Yeah, I'd have to say so. It's a formula station, personalities don't mean much.<font color=blue>
