Russ Albums

Anybody know what happened to him?

Jeff in Sa-ra-so-ta!

He has a voiceover business (www.russalbums.net). I think he stalks this forum from time to time too. I sent him some "fan-mail" a couple years back, he's still a cool dude.

On my list of Tampa's most recognizable voice artists I rank him #2 behind Brian James (RIP) but slightly in front of Jeff Laurence... sorry Jeff your voice is awesome too.

Oh... and #4 on my list would definitely be Spyder Nathanial Hawthorne Harrison III... he also has a voiceover business these days... but hates me because I accused him of being Larry Sansulo.

There was post on a Facebook page that said he was in an accident after leaving Quaker Steak & Lube about a week or two ago. I thought someone would have posted information about him by now.

Great pipes, great guy. All those guys at YNF were first class and fun.
:D

Russ's injuries were apparently quite serious, although I am told not life threatening. Naturally, medical expenses will be an issue and there may be some fund raising efforts in the works. In any case, all the best to one of the real icons of Tampa Bay radio.
