RUSS DODGE OUT AT HISPANIC 107.1FM INDY

Rumor has it WKLU is hiring... ;)

The key is to get in before change of ownership to get a crack at a job with the new management. It's all about positioning and thinking ahead of the curve in these troubled economic times which we live.

Pay attention spot - you send it BEFORE the sale to current management to position yourself when new management takes over. Puts you at the front of the line.

I was told that before Mr. Dodge that the stations did quite well.....

here's a no brainer (duh duh duh) bring those people back that had it profitable

is the company that owns this station in the broadcasting business?

is it a sub corp of clear channel or something?

Kind of harsh aren't you guys?

Was Dodge the ONLY employee there?

How tied were his hands?

Believe it or not, SOMETIMES owners can be the ones screwing things up - I'm just sayin...

why? what makes you THINK any of those people would be around, when new ownership takes over, they would be the first to be CUT, that's the last place you want to be! you are green arn't you!
i was just looking for the NAME of that new owner , i figured you would know. you are the one perpetuating this rumor.

his hands were not tied at all

just like everywhere he has been

spend spend spend......no ROI

Heck, when he worked for Wxlw I think the Byrds had to raise chicken prices several times just to cover the money he wasted

No, but Lime Jell-O is now trading higher than gold in Johnson County.

Moot point now. But if you'll recall, ALL of the initial WKLU employees Oasis hired were from the old Quinn roster - Jay Baker, Libby, Robby, Jimi, etc.

MOST new owners are smart enough to clean house and NOT keep the same players - not Oasis.

If you had any historical recall of WKLU you would have understood the point the 'ho was making in the first place.

And yes, the rumor was obviously fact - as the 'ho said it was.

Just wait till Oasis comes clean on the purchase of 107.1. That should be interesting, IF it were true.

But, it wouldn't make sense. It would make sense another Christian broadcaster
is shopping.

Let's say, for arguments sake, that a satellite preacher buys 107.1. That would be 3 Hendricks County stations out of 3 with NO local (or regional, for that matter) programming or studios. Would the FCC, if a freq could be had, allow a new station in Hendricks County. Or would we be SOL?

Harsh... HARSH?
Call the Byrd's and ask them about the condition Dodge put them in with their stations. Ask them about the fake sales contracts, the dollars spent. Call over at WEDJ and find out the dollars spent over there, the computers for his girl friend..ooops, I meant to say operations manager, she DID NOT DO anything except collect the payroll check, ask about... Ask about the station most profitable NTR events that 'raked" in free money that have been ruined, ask about..... Ahh hell never mind.

He took over VERY profitable stations, let's just say the economy pulled out a million in revenues and all he did was maintain business as usual over there, he still would have made bags of money, but NOOOOOO. Dodge had to change things, had to hire in an idiot PD, a few other incompetents and then drive it into the basement. Harsh? Harsh?

The man is an IDIOT! Nice guy, easy to like, but still an IDIOT.
