Great!! Another Russ Martin Thread. How exciting!!! Are we ever going to be free from him on this board?

Agree. Sad to see that these sheltered Russ Martin posters actually think that he had talent.

It's cool. Kinda like smoking. It takes time to quit and it never happens the first time. Russ Martin fans (including Russ's number 1 fan....himself) will realize over time that is is now irrelevant i radio. Then they will fade away, just as Russ is doing.

Aren't we missing the REAL issue here? APRIL 15 IS TAX DAY!!! (Hope that woman mailed the @#$% tax form in this time.)

Again, I'm not a RMS fan nor am I an apologist, but the guy does have some talent, he was relevant for along time, and he outdrew the show which now fills his spot by a mile.

If you don't like Russ, great. I don't either, really.

Think he is a dirtbag? You might be right- though unless you actually know the man, I doubt you have any right to such a judgement.

But to bash on the guy over and over and over...

... well, sounds like professional jealousy to me.

The bottom line is this: RMS is off the air. You haters won. So be good winners.

Bitchy winners come across as bitter losers.

Rise above and let the fanboys have their fun.

To the original post, all I can say is the add you quote is on a fan site, not on the RMS official page. So I doubt Russ Martin has much to do with it and I wouldn't get to excited about new shows at this point.

I thought as long as Russ was receiving compensation from CBS he was barred from making money elsewhere. Wouldn't selling old shows count as a form of income? I seriously doubt Russ giving away his old shows to that jerkoff who runs the .info site so he can keep all the income generated by the sales. Adam Carrolla in his podcasts goes on and on about not being able to charge for his show as long as he's being paid by CBS. Does someone need to tell CBS about Russ and his "special offer"?

The proceeds from the membership fees at the RussMartin.info site go to the foundation.

Why is the guy from the .info site a "jerkoff"? Because he doesn't archive any of your shows on the web?

You guys really need to get over yourselves.

Agreed. Very funny, Mr. Shannon. Very funny indeed.

I doubt that selling archived shows on the internet would violate a non-compete clause.

The .info site has been around for quite few years now and 100% of the proceeds benefit the foundation. The offer was for a special package of older shows circa 2002.

And yeah, hopefully she did get that package out in time!
