Russ Martin's Latest Aircheck?

Money talks. RM will walk away from his upcoming trial a free man thanks to Tim Powers.

No victim = no crime. No crime = no conviction.

"“Before the warrant, you had no idea if a call existed involving a verbal altercation between them,” Powers asked Anderson.

“I did not,” Anderson said Monday.

Powers noted that Martin’s fiancee never called 911 on the night of the incident."

You can already tell that Powers is going to argue that it was merely a verbal altercation. I'm sure he will find a way to suppress the physical evidence (photos) too. If she (Mandy or whatever the hell her name is) isn't going to testify againist RM I think there is only about a 1% chance he gets convicted.

I am a RM fan and want him to return to DFW radio but he would be stupid to walk away from the approx. $1.5 million ( ??? not sure if that is accurate but I heard that amount thrown around) that CBS still has to pay him. I guess only time will tell.
 
All this, and she got popped for not showing up to court, so what does that tell you??

Either she is really scared of him and has gone back to him because she is suffering from some battered spouse syndrome, and is scared to continue with the case

or

She got pissed at him, and decided to try to go after his reputation, and now has realized if she takes him down her money train derails too.

Has anyone actually seen the photos of her injuries, or other than the above linked story, has anyone actually heard the taped altercation??
