Does anyone know what happened to Russ "Weird Beard" Knight? He definitely is one the BEST DJ's I ever heard. Thanks for replying!
 
Yeah -- where is he these days? I have the CD copy of his KLIF aircheck from around 1962, I think.

Russ is retired and living in southern Connecticut.

He was my first PD at the old WCUE 1150/96.5 in
Akron back in 1970.
 
He was working in Bridgeport CT, long after I left. I think at WDJZ (up around 1500-something), possibly at WICC.
 
I have a CD of the Crusin series. I believe from Dallas in 1962 with him. (So Cool)
