Any shot Sid Rosenberg ends up back on WFAN? Or has that ship sailed?

Can we get Bill Mazer back? He was better than either of them either together or apart. I also think that Warner Wolfe doing a similar type show would be far superior to either of them. Also, remember that for a while that Marty Glickman did a sports talk show on WNEW. He was also excellent. All of the above have and had one thing in common.....they are or were all more literate and knew more about sports than Mike or Mad Dog. Mike and the Mad Dog are an example of the dumbing down of radio to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

You and I are part of the same generation. I loved hearing Bill Mazer back on WNBC along time ago.
I also liked listening to Art Rusk JR on WABC when the signal traveled down to Central East Coast of Florida
But I am afraid that Bill Mazer's style would not work on the "Kids" who listen to radio today.
They would find Cousin Bruce and Dan Ingram as boring.

I worked on them with this show a number of times and to say they were less than friends would be an understatement. Mike always had the clout that got him paid far more than Chris which was fine when Chris didn't have a name, but as the show went on Chris certainly proved his part and deserved a bigger ticket whether you thought he was an 'expert' or not. This show was about the personailties of both. It just worked. Funny how two guys who were two different generations with two different views of life made for a great combo. I remember doing shows with them where they never said a word to each other off air during breaks, let alone never acknowledging each other when they first walked int a room and most of the time sat in positions as if neither was in the same room with each other.
