Russ's OLD Studio

A friend of mine who still has a job at 105.3 after this format change has told me that "At this time Russ's studio will stay vacant and that the shows will all use the new studio from Jack."

I'm sorry, but this seems like a waste of good clean space.

Maybe Jagger or B&S can find some fireworks and blow up some of Russ's stuff for a change.

I just hope Bossman was able to clean out his stuff from the studio. There was some cool memorabilia in there. Its gotta suck to show up for work and your key card not work.

More than likely they'll let him clean out his studio out....

According to Dan O'Malley's blog on myspace these are his words about studio stuff:

"We grabbed what we could carry and walked out the back door as the television crews walked in the front.

The rest of our stuff will be delivered to us. Nice, huh?"

Gotta love CBS weasels.

Jaggers show does not fit in the format
Do you think he will be next to go?

Ugh. 105.3 used to be my favorite station - in my opinion it peaked in early 2002 when they had Stern, P&K, Russ, Leykis, Opie & Anthony and The Mich for their weekday lineup - but now the Jagger Show is the only show I'll listen to on there. And as much as I don't want them off the air for another month while between stations, I've got a feeling that they'll be kicked out once their contract is up.

At least I also have my XM... er, make that Sirius-XM satellite radio. O&A are one of the few bright spots in the dismal radio landscape these days.
