To Atlanta for a local show on GST?

Just received a return email from someone I won't name telling me that GST has a possible interest in this guy for the 9-12 show.

Interesting to say the least?

He has an ISDN at his house like Kevin Wall and Brian Wilson. Why not?

So Humphries would give up his national gig for a job at GST going head to head with Boortz? I have just a little hunch that your source is the same talk talent I heard on Sports 680 yesterday with Perry Laurentino? Whatever the case I would have to think that GST would have to throw a mountain of money at Humphries to turn him into an exclusively local host again.

Can't imagine Humphries would do really well against Boortz... but... It probably wouldn't have to be a "mountain" of money -- could be a better deal than Humphries has w/TRN (not known to be a high $ stratosphere company). It could happen if Clear Channel suggested IT would syndicate the show. But, it seems unlikely that would happen, given it's the same time period as Glenn Beck, but stranger things have happened.

Who was on WCNN???

Did I miss something?

"Who" was on WCNN yesterday with Perry Laurentino if I may ask?

As for Humphries I cannot see GST syndicating for the exact reason that his show would run at the same time as Beck.

Hence my feeling that they'd have to throw a mountain of money at him to make the move here.

He could do both the national and local show. It has been done.

Uh, like Dino Costa. Ring a bell?

DC was on WCNN? I don't think so

Excuse me for being skeptical but this is a hoax on a par with the David Paul thing right?

Dino wasn't on WCNN yesterday.

Unless I missed it completely?

I didn't hear anything about this being pre promoted or talked about at all and I didn't hear or read of anything that anyone knew of him being on WCNN.

Your sense of my source is pretty good but your jiving about DC being in Atlanta and on another station ain't righteous at all.

TRN would not be happy about this, don't think this holds water.

Outside the loop?

Let me bring you on the inside track of things okay? Not only was he "on" Sports 680 yesterday, but he was also on for five consecutive hours if my math is right. Costa did the last two hours with the morning show and all three hours with Perry Laurentino. If you doubt me (this is your right) then why don't you call the station and ask them? Anyone else here who heard Costa yesterday on Sports 680 may chime in at anytime to validate my accuracy...

Re: Outside the loop?

Let me end the suspense so that the admins may delete this thread.

I have it on excellent authority that mister bansplit has an excellent memory and is dead on balls accurate with his reports of Dino Costa's wherabouts yesterday between the hours of 8 AM and 1 PM.

Sincerely,
Jim Gossett
