'RVR Solid Gold Sunday Question...

KK (one of the few people to hear me at the pinnacle of my career, and live to tell about it...) The old 104 studios are home to River City Sound, music and production studios.

You know, I bet this doesn't happen to too many lowly part-timers, but for at least a couple of books in the early 80's my 6PM-Mid sunday shift was the highest rated daypart in Memphis.

I'm sure it had everthing to do with my stellar talent and nothing at all to do with that old 60s and 70s music ::)

Correct Saur!
Big numbers are always an indicator of stellar talent! By the way,I had a chat with Jim Robertson recently. Talk about a blast from the past! LOL! Soon 5904 will be home to someone else too. Time marches on.......

Rob...I live for the weekend..Grayson, good to hear from you and thanks for the update on the old rvr studios. It hard to believe it has been more than a few years since I listened to your smooth tones on 13Q in the burgh. What a great station that was in those days. The talent, including yourself, was top tier and the station had such energy. I was saddened to hear of the passing of a legend Jackson Armstrong.

BB, 2 questions:

(1) What / how is Jim doing and (2) When is 5904's last day?

Well I lost count, but add one more I was there until the end as well, then I went to the Pig!! I haven't been on the site in a while so hello to everyone!

Mitch
