Ryan & Holly start on "Atlanta & Company" on Monday

I wrote a story in today's Living (it was held because of Katrina) about "Atlanta & Company," hosted by Dave FM's Holly Firfer and V-103's Ryan Cameron. As noted in an earlier post a few weeks ago, it starts Monday at 11 a.m. on WXIA-TV. Holly is a former CNN Headline News anchor. Ryan, besides his 15 years of radio experience, worked man-on-the-street interviews for Noonday back in the mid-1990s and won a local Emmy. He also hosted a few comedy shows for Turner South in 2003.

I watched Atl & Co. today and though I realize the show is brand new... "sponsored" interviews and that cute "mailbag" segment... can local television get any worse? I think not... unless they were to add Steve Barnes to the mix. God save us from the inane.
