Ryan Radtke Heads To Reno

Suprised nobody has mentioned this yet, but All Access is reporting Sidewinders Play by Play and UA studio host Ryan Radtke has taken the job as the lead PBP voice for the UNR Wolfpack Football and Men's Basketball radio broadcasts. Reno also happens to be where the Sidewinders franchise is moving next year.

This is a great opportunity for Ryan who has certainly paid his dues. He's spent the last several years working closely with Brian Jeffries, who is IMHO one of the best PBP guys in the country at any level.

Best of luck to Ryan. Does this mean any notable changes with the UA broadcasts this year?

I'll never forget the day that Brian & I called Ryan into my office when he was an intern. We told him that although his intern work was okay, he could do much better. After what would have seemed like half an eternity, we promoted him from intern to evening sports host on KNST.

I'm very proud to have seen his successes over the years. He really is one of the good guys in radio!
