where would they put him? middays? aren't they saving enough cash with jo boxer on nci AND col? no way.

If they did that you could hear Boxer on both WNCI and WCOL at the same time (between 3p and 4p). I don't think they will allow that to happen.

don't be so sure. this is clear channel. they have no soul
 
You have to remember that his LA show airs until 1 Eastern, so he'd probably be on 1-4. They could also theoretically cut out the Dave and Jimmy Zoo local hour from 9-10 if they really wanted Joe Boxer on for 4 hours. My guess
Zoo 6-10,
Boxer 10-1 with interactive old school lunch whatever finishing his shift.
Seacrest 1-4, and then the day would continue as normal.
 
I really don't get why people think Seacrest coming to WNCI is such an alien thought...they have Joe Boxer on TWO stations right now, while that is great for the budget it's got to be taxing to Joe (no matter how good a guy he is)

Seacrest is the mule of the decade...jump on, save money maybe even make more with him on the station as local advertisers can now attach their name and brand to his.

I liked the retro hour at 12n, shame that wont stay in place. Oh well that's why they have ipods now.
 
Yeah I like the retro lunch hour too and hope they don't let that go. However I'm kinda confused about Secrest being on WNCI. I'm down in southern Ohio (Portsmouth-Ironton-Ashland, KY. area) very often and Secrest's show very recently started airing on WBKS (Kiss 107.1 Ashland, KY.-Huntington, WV.) noon - 3pm ish (i think) and that station is CHR-Rhythmic and that sounded like the format of his show when I heard it there. So does that mean WNCI be running a CHR-Rhythmic show?
 
I heard there are two versions of Seacrest's show, a satellite fed long form show that includes music. Then they have the customized voicetracked version where you can provide your own music for the Seacrest bits. John Tesh does a simular thing with his show.

I C. thanks for the info. i still say they should leave that retro lunch hour alone. i mean serioulsy that is the ONLY time that I personally listen to WNCI. LOL
 
Since Clear Channel is really Evil and Ryan Seacrest is just Evil, will not the combining of these two forces open the Gates of Hell and destroy radio once and for all?
