Does anyone have any info about Ryan Young who works as a morning reporter for Channel 2 Action News? I like him. He has a great delivery and seems like he can go far in Atlanta. All wsbtv.com says is that he worked in Savannah and some other market in Florida.<P ID="signature">______________

Found this at Channel 2's website www.wsbtv.com:

Ryan Young has been with Channel 2 Action News since July 2005.
He is a native of Miami who got his first big break in college
hosting a syndicated sports show. After graduating from Florida
State with a bachelor's degree in media production, he went right
to work for Tallahassee's ABC affiliate. WTXL/27, where he covered
(among other stories) the 2002 Florida elections and FSU's national
championship run.

Young won two Associated Press awards at WTOC/11 Savannah, one
for an expose of dangerous cigarette lighters and one for on-the-
spot coverage of a major street collapse.

At WNCN/NBC17 Raleigh/Durham he reported on people whose lives
were torn apart by Hurricanes Ivan and Frances. He also produced
a groundbreaking report on gangs in the military.

He counts as his hobbies reading, anything to do with football,
and playing fetch with his dog Asia. He says he is "happy to be
back in the Peach State!"
