who listen too more hip hop or rythmic or top 40 or dance Im just really who listen to all that good stuff
rythmic top40
top 40 mainstream
hip hop
dance hits
whats the most people listen too its just a question

Top 40 Mainstream is the Most popular

Personally I'm a Rhythmic guy, I really like the stations that are Rhythmic Hip Hop, Not Quite Urban Not Quite Rhythmic but right in the Middle.

I'm in between formats right now. I'm into Urban AC, Urban Contemporary and Top 40/Rhythmic. Mostly Urban Contemporary

For me its Urban and Urban AC. Growing up in KC we really never had a Rhythmic Top 40 station. KCHZ switching back and forth as Z95.7 and 95.7 The Vibe. KKYD in Topeka KS didnt last long either. KKWD in OKC is a perfect choice for Rhythmic Top 40. But since moving to LA Top 40 Mainstream

i could tell you what I like to listen the most wqht wpow kpwr and wjqm kmxv wxss wkqi kiis kths kprr kbos and wxss wxaj wbbm I'll let you know more later I have to puke now

WUSL Power 99 & WPHI 100.3 The Beat in Philly are perfect choices for Hip Hop & R&B. In NY your best bet for Hip Hop & R&B are WQHT Hot 97 & Power 105.1 and for Urban AC choices you have WRKS 98.7 Kiss FM and WBLS 107.5. In L.A. for your Hip Hop & R&B fix you can listen to KPWR Power 106 who remains heavily current and for the 80's, 90's and Early 2000's you can listen to KDAY's old school hip hop format, then there is KJLH an Urban AC which is owned by Stevie Wonder with a playlist consisting of Today's R&B & Classic Soul gospel, hip hop and jazz but leans more current then it used to. Those are my favorite formats.

WPGC needs a bit of focus

H-town- Knockin the boots into Adele - Rolling in the Deep?

Uh, WPGC is now a rhythmic with a heavy urban lean these days compared to it being a straight up urban contemporary from 1997-2007. Also Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" is now playing on a number of urban stations including their sister station WVEE/V-103 and KMEL. As a matter fact, "Rolling in the Deep" is charting on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs @ #79, so it's not out of place on stations like WPGC at all.

Some urbans play Adele's Rolling In The Deep. Urban AC KJLH has been playing for a while so nothing new.

I wonder how "boomerang" randomly happened to be an early big song for Tucson, Az.? That's strange... How do you have a song get big in L.A. and Tucson, first? That's one of the most random regional city outcomes I've witnessed. It's like Wal-Mart and Quick Trip out of all stores being the two to carry my favorite brand of pork & beans!

Ironically, Power 106 just started playing it as I type. Lets see how long it takes KOHT Tucson to play it...

Am I dreaming, or did I hear this really just happen on KOHT?

I prefer Mainstream Top 40. I'm not into the Rhythmic side of things (although I do like the music mix on WDTW-FM as of late). I like Hot AC from time to time, but it gets tedious with the rap breaks edited out. I'm not into Urban contemporary because sometimes the playlist, especially during the overnight hours, tend to get unfocused.

Give me a very good Mainstream Top 40 station (mixed with Rock/Alternative) and I'll be a happy camper.

'Summer school.' To understand why those two words were ever paired together, see the quote above.
