KONO takes a few hits losing shares (8.6 to 7.1) most likely to surging VIBE 107.5 (5.1 to 5.5), KQXT (5.9 to 6.1) and sister KTKX (4.8 to 5.4). The country giants swap spots, no news there. KJXK Jack-FM is still teetering in the mid 3+ range with no seismic waves in sight. IMO the compression is horrendous and playlist has run its course but the casual office-listener wont show it.
Both talkers KTSA and WOAI are swimming in the non-election cycle for now at low 2s. Is the barn on fire yet at KXXM/Now 96.1 (3.7 to 2.5) being a full signal? Classic country cant catch a break in SA through KKYX or The Bull; perhaps this is their chance to move it up the flagpole? Does iHeart have a track record of running a successful Hot County/Classic Country duo on full sticks? Could it sacrifice a dying NOW with a live/local BULL? Or am I senile and it just needs to rework NOW to a higher octane CHR (if that's possible)?
