S.A. Trend is out

No shocker here but The Beat continues to roll on....

Z continues to climb upwards. The more Rhythmic Z goes the better their ratings will get. From a 1.7 3-4 months ago to 3.2. Mix is also up-3.7. So where are these listeners coming from? Jack, KTFM, Magic...who knows...

KTFM-2.8- There's a reason why the Rhythmic Oldies format died in S.A. several years ago.
JACK 2.8- KROCK should of taken half of the Rock Jack plays. However, I feel confident BMP will take care of Jack in the coming months.
Magic 2.9- Magic still has the same playlist as it did 3 years ago. Yeah, there's a couple current artists but overall the playlist remains the same.

How in the world did Z go up that high? Wow. Well, I havnt listened to them in forever now. Acually about the only real station I listen to is Mix 96.1 now.

Word is Roger Allen is on his way out. That comes from Atlanta. Roger applied at a couple of CBS stations last year and it got back to Atlanta.

It must be true about poor roger allen, in sundays job section cox was looking a pd for both y-100 and kkyx

Yeah poor roger. :'( After all the nasty things he said about Rusty Walker and can see why Y-100 is looking for a new pd.

some of the 90s music they are playing on mix around 5 is beging to make my ears sorta move and take a listen. If they were to incorporate more 90s dance/hip hop music like KISS XM, I would give mix another chance. The last chance was of course back when they first came on air and sounded SOMEWHAT similar to Mix 94.7 in Austin, but nowhere near as good as that station back in the days.
