S.E.I.U (State Employees Union) Deceptive Radio Ad

Re: S.E.I.U Radio Ad: Don't Have To Be A Republican To ...

No one has accused me of being a Republican since I was President of The Young Republicans in college. I grew up and am now a dyed-in-the-wool Independent.
Nonetheless, the point of my threat is that unions are in bad enough shape in this state and country that their best interests are not served by telling half truths to make a pretty lame point in a rather pointless advertising campaign. Seems that SEIU is REALLY wasting their union members dues with current turkey of a commercial.
My point: Half truths are as good as a whole lie.

"where the voters are", 96.9 took a big hit moving Severin, didn't they?
Denny Crane is correct that there should be some kind of oversight no matter
where the advertising airs. And enough with the religious whackos and
the anti-gay marriage ads.

What kind of oversight would you recommend? Denny Parklane Crane seems annoyed that the SEIU is saying something that happens to be true that he believes the average person is too ignorant to understand. How would one govern such statements?

Ah. So what it really comes down to is that you only want political ads that push your agenda.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED I TELLS YA that this statement came from you. I'm sure the only agenda the poster is trying to push is one that doesn't preach hate....to anyone

Clearly you know very little about that particular poster, who uses this very forum to spew hate on a near constant basis.

Denny Crane never said the people are "too ignorant to understand" only if you are not as politically aware as some or from some other state you would not know that the state of Massachusetts changed the length of the governor's term from 2 to 4 years sometime in the mid 1970's. The S.E.I.U. should know that. Also, stop putting words in Denny Crane's mouth...hear you can get Mad Cow's Disease that way ;-)

Which makes what is stated in the SEIU's ad true, parklane. As outrages go, this one's pretty weak.

Damn right I want to push my agenda. There should be oversight.
Explain it to the average person and don't allow Religious Whackos
to run smear campaigns. This would, of course, exclude you.

We all knew that already. You're a troll and a narcissist. No one is interested in you, your cable access happy fun hour, or your two dozen blogs with one entry each. Get over yourself.
