S50 won't record music channels

Per sirius backstage...

You can only record talk channels at this time. The firmware is upgradable, so if that changes you can flash an update.

Sounds like the RIAA has its fingers in this!<P ID="signature">______________

Maybe the S50 won't record music channels, but my computer can and will record Sirius radio online. When will the RIAA figure out that if we can hear the audio, we can capture it and do whatever we want with it?

Not to mention the fact that those with Dish Network and a DVR can record hours of Sirius music stations at sound quality that is actually BETTER than the radio stream.

Just curious if you have actually tried recording the streams? With Time Warner Cincinnati, Music Choice channels cannot be recorded with a dvr. It comes up as an "Unrecordable Channel" Pause & rewind don't work, either.

Any DISH DVR does this with ease... without anything special... haha!
