The most surprising, is K-Love at #3. Does anyone know if they were airing Christmas music?

G103.3 is up from .09 to 1.3. I'm guessing this is due to a two month spot/advertisement on G103.3 being simulcast on 94.1 HD-2 and the introduction of Dance Classics and 80s tracks to the playlist.

I believe K-Love was airing Christmas music during the Christmas season, at least right before and during Christmas.

KZLV did not do intensive programming of Christmas music until the day before. They built up to the Christmas songs leading up to those days, much like the practice before the station Jerry Ryan managed in Phoenix pioneered All Christmas about a quarter century ago.

Normally KZLV is around 12th to 15th. Obviously they benefited in the Holiday book, but remember one of their positives is not having 8-minute stopsets during the holidays.

They distinguished between celebrating the birth of Christ and the secular holiday with Santa, reindeer, dead pine trees, lights, ornaments, Salvation Army bell-ringers, corny songs and lots of retail and on-line present-buying.

"Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" is not a hymn nor does it praise Jesus Christ.
