SA PPMs Aug 2022

Watching the 6+ numbers and spotting a few trends: Guess moving ahead into 1988-1995 is paying off for KONO and nobody is going head to head with them (8.2 - 9.4).

KCYY is upward for 3 books and slicing back into KAJA- is there a new morning show there? KTSA has respectable numbers and both talkers will benefit from the elections cycle. KVBH again so much potential but sticking to the urban leaning 2000's that made the BEAT in it's heyday.
KROM: The wheels are falling off. I havent listened lately but they were overloaded with Talk (chisme) programming most of the day and perhaps that's where KSAH Norteno is taking off the top even with a rimshot 104.1 (2.6 - 3.6).. If iHeart is going to blink, it will be full power 104.5 as they have been in the 1 share funk for quite a while. Even a 250 watt 105.7 Preciosa is backed right up with it.

I got dibs on KQXT flipping to Christmas format by November 18/19. Finally, Sports Star on 94.1- OOmf...

Shame that sports format isn’t hitting on FM. I wonder if 760 would’ve or would fair better on the FM dial? They have always seemed to be the “prize” sports station here in town. Maybe this is a testament to SA being more “old school” when it comes to stuff like talk radio and sports being on the FM dial compared to other big cities?? I remember years back when 106.7 tried talk radio and that failed badly.

It's been years since I consumed sports radio but I was a fan of Ari/David Chance's show, and stuck around for quite a while afterwards. Since then, I don't know what each local sports station is doing besides 94.1 hiring Joe Reinagel in January. Can any Sports radio listeners weigh in on their thoughts for 94.1?

I actually listen to 94.1 a whole lot now for sports or 1250 am (been forever before fm dial). 760 and Mike Taylor Do absolutely nothing for me. To be honest, I’m surprised that guy’s been on the radio for so long still I feel like there’s never really any sports talked about other than a heavy dose of the Dallas Cowboys. 94.1 has far better sports content in my honest opinion.

Basically, the same listeners moved from 1250/103.3 to 94.1. I wouldn't say, that's growing the base.

Thus far, 94.1 flipping to Sports seems like a foolish move.

On another topic, has anyone noticed the increase of 80s on Jack FM? I'm curious if that's the reason Jack received a higher PPM than in the past meter readings.

BigJuan78- KSAH Norteno is taking off the top even with a rimshot 104.1 (2.6 - 3.6)

This proves that people will listen to 104.1 and 95.7, even if the signal doesn't cover the entire market.

I'm curious if the revenue from the Sports
