What's with the low ratings on hip-hop/pop stations?
Most are below 2.5 with the exception of KXXM. KVBH is more old school.

Magic 105.3 is doing well and it plays Today's Hits from Kalid, Olivia Rodrigo, Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X, Doja Cat to Throwbacks from Destiny’s Child Justin Timberlake, Dj Sammy, Jennifer Lopez, etc.

Vibe's playlist seems to be too small and still has way too much Hip Hop.

96.1 Now(KXXM) I like what they done which is playing the Hits with a mix of Throwbacks from Pop, Hip Hop & EDM. And they still have their Now and Then Weekends. Below is 96.1 Now playlist from Thursday morning:

I believe that's because Tiktoc gave the song new life.

Your original question was regarding low ratings on Pop & Hip Hop stations. My point was Magic is sitting at the top next to KONO 101-1. Pop music is alive and well in SA.
