SACRAMENTO GETS RTV AND ANTENNA TV

Fox 40 KTXL plans to add both RTV and Antenna TV on sub-channels over the next
few months. This will likely be their last sub-channels, as the Fox demands a lot of
bandwidth for the network, reports the Sacramento Press.

Antenna will have a symbiotic relationship with RTV for less than a year. Once the obvious production values are diametrically exposed, RTV will be cut loose and left to weather in the wind.

Book it. RTV is as much as dead.

KTXL has not or never had RTV. In Sacramento, RTV is on a LPTV Station.

KBTV-CD 51. I think it maps to 8-1.

The main channel of KBTV is carried on Comcast Cable which is an Ethnic Format (Crossings TV) but not RTV. And I live in Stockton and I can't pick up ANY Sacramento LPTV's at all with a TV and digital converter box. Only the Full powered ones.

Now I know what you mean. It's actually a digital sub channel. LPTV is an analog low OTA that I still believe is allowable on the UHF bands. I thought there was one in Sacramento.
