For those In this group that knew Ed-Beck
He passed away sometime today 8-24-05
Ed was a good guy who gave Lots of support in this group
Ed-Beck was the local guy for making commercials and spots for several NJ stations and advertisers. He will be missed..
they believe it was a Heart attack.

Sad news indeed. And he was too young to have a heart attack! (ONLY 33!)

Thank you for your condolences. Having spent the past five years with him, I can tell you it was quite a shock for all of us. His family is devastated, as is most of the NJ Radio community. Ed Beck did not have a heart attack that we know of. This has not been verified as his family and I are still waiting on reports from the medical examiner. This is pure speculation and if I have to post on every board to let everyone know that we DO NOT know the cause of his death at this time, I will. His family and I are still waiting on word from the medical examiner. The outpouring of love and kindness from everyone has been wonderful. Thank you all for your phone calls, emails and tributes. They mean so much.
