Sad vs Depressing

stevations said:
Whitney Houston was a real Whiner too. They could use her voice for an air raid siren. Imagine being married to her and she was yelling at you to take out trash can out to the curb.

Or drive out to some street corner in a dodgy part of the city to buy her more coke.

And a spoof of Jimmy Dean's "Big Bad John" called "Big Bad Bruce." (You thought "The Ballad of Ben Gay" and Rod Hart's "CB Savage" were full of gay stereotypes? "Big Bad Bruce" was worse. Instead of dying in a mine cave-in, Bruce dies when his hair dryer catches fire.) I have forgotten the singers' names.

Steve Greenburg = "Big Bruce"

"Send In The Clowns" and "Lucky Man" are sad mood songs that don't go all the way down to depressing, imo.
Use "Is That All There Is" by Peggy Lee as a benchmark for 'depressing'.
