I got a call yesterday from a guy that got the ax back in January. He has a ton of talent and has done very well for himself but can't find a radio gig...He wasn't calling about radio,he called to ask if I knew how to get his foot in the door at Publix, A place I work in my "off season" from lawn care. He didn't have to tell me how hard it would be to take a job like this..I know first hand! BUT you do what you have to do to put food on the table. This just hit me as sad...not just for him but for radio and all the talent out of a job....
