Yep, it's true. After 6 awesome years at the coolest radio station in the ATL, I'm packing up my headphones and taking them to another input jack!

Tomorrow - Thursday - will be my last day on Q100, so if there was anything you've ever wanted to ask me, now is the time! Please request Madonna 800 times, maybe we can get some on!

Or if you want to send pizza, doritos and mello yello, they will be greatly appreciated! ;)

Ideas as to where I'm going:

Looks like she's taking over for Blake at WRMF in West Palm Beach. The station hasn't performed the same since Palm Beach Broadcasting bought the place back in 2002. However, their brand of Hot AC has gotten hotter over the last four years, and TSG should thrive down there. I wonder how big of a paycut she took. PM Driver before last made only $50K before bonuses.

TSG is a really class act. Incredibly nice and gracious and a very good talent.

The question is, though.....how will this effect Q100? Seriously.

Rumor has it, she and Dylan didn't get along that well. And Cumulus wants multitaskers. On-air/MD - On-air/PD - On-air/whatever. So I'm guessing the next person they bring in will probably be an Asst. to Dylan. Or help out in some other capacity. Too bad, Tracy is VERY good at what she does. Maybe she just wants to do her thing without the pressure of big market corp. bologna. And I could think of worse places than West Palm.

While I can't comment for sure on any motivations for going to West Palm, PM Drive is more prestigious, for lack of a better word, than mid-days. Congrats to her for the move.

As far as Cumulus wanting multi-taskers, this is possible...but there's a question of mine that's gone unanswered for a while. Who is doing the music? Their APD/MD was blown out back in May and to my knowledge, they haven't named a new one. So maybe that will change with the new hire?

Yes, for 99x. Dylan is doing the music for Q...for now at least. I'm guessing the next midday person will schedule the music.
 
Wow. I sense jealousy. Tracy deserves her own morning show.
 
Tracy is one of the nicest and most down to earth DJ's I have ever met. She isn't fake and annoying.She LOVES what she does (entertaining her peeps). Atlanta is going to be missing out on one of the best air talents Atlanta has ever had. Drive time will be perfect for her and I hope she will have more time to talk on air then play music. Best of Luck TSG. Keep everyone updated on your Myspace so we can listen to you live on the Internet. ;)

PS I guess now you will have to put your "touring with Madonna on tour" on hold while you are chilling on the beach in West Palm, FL MUST BE NICE ;D
 
Tracy is definitley going to be missed!! I was lucky enough to be able to work with her. It was NEVER a dull moment. Radio needs more people like her.
