safesound p1 vs seventh circle audio pre's

anyone have experience with the P1? i was wondering how it sounds compared the the sca pre's.i recall one time Jeff Laurence may have used the P1.thanks

I haven't A/B'd it against an S.C.A. but the P1 is a great strip for the money! I really liked the smoothness of the compressor and expander. Very clean sound with my TLM 103. I took it out of the rack a few months ago when I upgraded to a Voxbox. I decided to go tube and wanted more 'hands on' control with eq. I'd be willing to sell if you want to save some cash. It's 2 years old and in pristine condition...was never mounted, just sat in a rack shelf.
