Saga gets new veteran engineer

This could answer a few questions about what Saga plans to do in Columbus as they snag Ron Gaier as their new CE, he had been with Cox Dayton for almost 30 years! I worked with this guy and he's one of the best and toughest engineers in the business, period.

He oversaw the similcast split of 95.3 and 95.7 in Dayton into two seperate formats as well as major upgrades to their facilities and signals. Could this mean that the Jazz similcast days are numbered? Could the Oldies format be headed to a different frequency with a better signal? My opinion is, that it must have taken a hell of a pitch to get him out of Dayton. Thoughts?

Great news for Ron...Cox is losing a great engineer.

Definately..Ron even got the old Piqua facility in decent shape before the move...after years of chewing gum and bailing wire engineering.<P ID="signature">______________
