That would be great news. The River is a very good station. They do a superior job maintaining a balance between the more "mainstream" AAA chart material and their own personality. While (some) programmers (at times) have a hard time with life outside the charts, the AAA format is one of the few that is MOST well received when creative liberties are taken. That being said, I hope Saga has someone in house ... or brings someone in who really KNOWS the format. This format REQUIRES that. The listeners 'get it' and if the programmers don't it is painfully obvious that it's being half assed. All in all a good opportunity for Saga and hopefully renewed life for a once quality station.
