'Sal' leaving Dennis Miller Show

Anybody here know why David (aka 'Sal') is leaving the Dennis Miller Radio Show? Thought he offered a nice balance to Dennis' viewpoint, and wonder whether his departure is voluntary or whether he was edged out?

Offering a counter point to a conservative is dangerous in conservative talk radio. It's the "Right" way or the highway. Conservatives don't like to hear the other point of view unless they feel they could destroy it immediately. Look at Fox News. They like to put on either weak or unknown liberals as a token.

If you've ever listened to Miller's show, it's not like he and Sal go at it in a "point/counterpoint" style...Sal's main contribution, IMHO, were his comedic talents, rather than serving as Miller's political foil.

I'm guessing it could be budget cuts, or maybe Sal's got other things he wants to do after three years on the air. Despite its lack of success, the show did get re-upped recently, which is good news for those of us who do like listening.

Curious why you say that. The show continues to add new stations on a fairly regular basis.

In any event, guess no one has any 'inside info' on what really happened...
