All kidding aside... they actually made Jordan an offer she "Couldn't" refuse to do the River. She's said to many people she's not a 'rock' jock. Not sure they even gave her more money. It was one of those "Do it to keep your gig" kinda thing.

Sadly, this does not surprise me. Growing up seeing my parents make jack-all in small market radio is what kept me out of the business despite a genuine interest. That, and the ubiquitous "la la la we need a change let's fire everyone" mindset. I'd hoped things were better in bigger markets, but clearly that's not the case.
