What does anyone hear about Chuck Crossno's replacement at The Max. Big shoes to fill with the success he had taking money from Rock 103.

Have they replaced him? His name and direct line are still up on The Max website. I talked with him a few days ago. he's loving Jonesboro...already has them pacing ahead of last year. Still needs to sell his house in East Memphis.

I wouldn't worry about him selling his house. based on chuck's ability to single handidly conquer radio sales in memphis, selling a house in memphis will not be a problem. he can probably do it in his sleep or at least spare time. that is unless he spends time trolling this radio board. RG914, next time you talk to him (wink-wink) tell him we miss him in mempho.

I understand DeSean Grayson got the job. Smart guy but no management experience. Good luck sellers

Molly, not to take anything away from Chuck, but I'm not sure how much he "took" from Rock 103...they seemed perfectly willing to just "give" the money to him and 98.1. Congrats to DeSean, Cumulus got a good one.

No doubt Clear Channel/Michael Opppenheimer opened up the doors to the vault. They fired some good managers and sellers, but Chuck was smart enough to take advantage. DeSean is a class act
