This was in the news section for a station in Vicksburg.

Does anyone know more about this transaction?


.Assignment of the license for WBBV-FM, Vicksburg, Mississippi, is approved from Debut Broadcasting Mississippi, Inc. to Holladay Broadcasting of Louisiana, LLC. Debut owns stations in Mississippi and Virginia and sells pre-recorded programs to more than 1,400 stations in the U.S. and Canada. Debut defaulted on a settlement payment earlier this year, returning the station to the Holladay cluster in the Jackson metro.

I think that explains in a nut shell what happened. If you have a note and don't perform, the
holder has a right to legally reclaim the license thru regulations approved by FCC ( Receivership, etc.)
Not being an attorney, thats all I know. JBI
 
These things sometimes move swiftly, and is hard to keep track...obviously the transfer had occured with a debt tissue attached. JBI
