Salem usually sticks to their own talkers other than one station in Calif. (KTIE) that runs Rush

I wonder if Rush's move to WKOX is temporary. Perhaps Salem tried for overly rich terms thinking that iHeart wouldn't flip another station, but may be more willing to talk now. Either way, they picked up the station for a great price and can load up weekends with brokered programming so they will do well no matter what happens.

To put it kindly, Salem is a shrewd Broadcaster. As far as I can tell, they are always looking for either a good or better deal!
