Salem entering the Talk market with 93.1fm

93.1 KTRO "Talk Radio Oregon" has debuted in the Portland market according to 100000watts.com. The move of several Oregon radio stations just took place over the weekend and KPDQ is said to now be on 93.9fm. "Talk Radio Oregon" uses Salem stable of conservative talkers like similar Salem stations across the country.

93.1 Gladstone came into the Portland market via the old 92.9 Astoria which just tranferred the stations intellucal property to 94.3 Long Beach which just moved to 99.7 over the weekend. 93.7 Portland had to move to 93.9 to make way as well. 93.1 Springfield moved to 93.3 on Saturday evening as well. 94.1 Tillamook moved to 94.3 and 92.9 Coos Bay also moved to 93.5fm.

When I posted the fact that KPDQ was promoting a move to 93.9 on-the-air must have meant the move was close I was shot down as wrong. Yet one week later 93.1 debuts in the Porland market and KPDQ has moved to 93.9fm.
