Salem media's new Quincy station

in September it was reported the Salem broadcasting was going to start a local station like the old WJDA.
Anyone know the status of that venture?

No, but to tell the truth this is the first I'd heard of it and did a search. Found:

>>WJDA went off the air in 2006, after 59 years. Ryan wants to revive the station’s heritage at WBIX-AM, Salem’s newest local venture.
“I would love to flavor 1260 with some of that,” she said, referring to WBIX’s frequency. “There really isn’t that hometown station anymore.”

So the "new station" is really WBIX, news-talk-business, but the article hints that maybe there could be South Shore content like ballgames and
it mentions host "William Kelly". Bill Kelly buys the 5-6 pm hr on 1260 (though the BIX site claims Michael Medved is 3-6p so don't know if he still does). His voice is so monotonous it's like listening to paint dry. So if anyone has heard any info about
possible local content on 1260, feel free to share.

I laugh when they write WJDA went off the air. I guess Spanish radio doesn't count.
