There was mention earlier about WJIE's ratings... last time I checked non-comms don't show up in ratings, right?

Right. But they are still rated. They got a 0.9.
Though not listed to the public in the 12+ numbers, there is a consortium that offers non-coms breakdowns for their own 'in house' research... Also, 'caution'....We're not supposed to give exact 12+ numbers on here... Arbitron keeps an eye on it and our editor does not mind 'generalizatons' of 'up about 2' and from number 4 to 3 in this book.. But Arbitron gets edgy when we use exact numbers (even the released 12+ to the public, that are listed here on the ratings section...And on R&R's site, as well...)... Just a heads up...

Heck no! They've got too many little college age kids running around Beltsville to do that for them.. Ha! And on the non-com support vs ad support... Way will be a good barometer with the ability to do both.. As Augsburg did it with WSOR, prior to his Way-Days... Yippie! I love ya' folks! Don't want anyone to get 'stymeed'....

I think Tim Hartlage is a very tough manager who will shake things up, especially in sales since his last job was in sales. and when Salem sells the stations, Tim will move on. He never stays too long anywhere.
I had a chance to hear Tim Hartlage speak tonight at a WFIA Radio Rally in New Albany. This man has a strong passion for his new position and he expressed the vital need of having Salem radio in this community. I guess that is based on the fact that WFIA is the only Christian Talk outlet, WRVI is labeled what he called "the Praise station" and WGTK is the only full-time Conservative Voice outlet in the market. WFIA-FM seems to have found a niche with the Southern Gospel music as well. Tim has several promotional events already lined up for the near future. Best wishes and success to Tim and the Salem staff of Louisville.
