Denver Salem refiles for KBJD/KRKS CP

Salem's KBJD (1650) has refiled for a construction permit that expired earlier this year. KBJD and co-owned KRKS (990) propose a move of the stations' shared transmitter site around 160 feet to the west to allow for construction of a warehouse at the site. No other changes are proposed and the stations' operating parameters would remain the same. The site is just outside the Denver city limits in an unincorporated area of Adams County. KRKS filed for a similar replacement CP late in December 2024, which was granted in February.

Both Salem stations feature religious programming; KBJD broadcasts in Spanish.
