Hewitt airs mornings in Detroit on WDTK (AM 1400). Surprised at the length of the extension. The long contract may be to offset any type of increase. I'm speculating on this as the terms of the deal, beyond the length are not available. I personally though Bill Bennett, who Hewitt succeeded had a far better show, but Salem is apparently pleased.
