The new PD for Salem, San Francisco is Laurie Larson, transferring from Salem, Phoenix. Her career started in the early eighties working with John Sabastian in music research. She worked for Jacor as well.

When the Great Art Morrison Voluntarily Vacates that position, as he did some 2 years ago now, that's all you need to know about how impossible that building is. There's a reason why they can't find anyone nor or they able to transfer personnel from their other markets. They still operate with one of the most failure prone automated systems in radio board history - "ENCO"!
Which should be called MURPHY"S - as in Anything that can go wrong etc. Feeding them from remote studios is a nightmare with that "beep" system that drives anyone with any experience crazy - which is why the old call letters for 1220am (broadcast from that building) which was KNTS -was affectionately referred to as "K-NUTS"-- So Apply if you wan to go...
