Salem talk show hosts

If you had a favorite Christian preacher you wanted to listen to, would you rather wait until broadcast time or go to that ministry's website and listen when you want to? Would you want to get directly to the program or listen to multiple PI Deal Ads from questionable unknown advertisers with the phone number repeated three, four or five times?

If you had a favorite band, why wouldn't you just stream their albums or "stations" on Spotify/Apple Music/Youtube?

If you had a favorite talk show/public radio show why wouldn't you just download their "pod"?

Would you want to get this content directly from the band or show or listen to multiple obnoxious commercials for aggressive car dealers and gross pharmaceutical ads? Or pleadings for support from listeners like you?

Eric Mataxas is off Salem..a fairly successful author, his show was somewhat unique I thought, He said he might have a late night show. I have heard that the religious stations are more profitable for Salem than the talk show. There are not that many hard core foreign policy political junkies that like Hewitt..seems like a mix of supplements and think tanks..are the main sponsors for Salem

Mr. Metaxas wrote books for Salem's former publishing arm, Regnery. Salem disposed of their publishing division, so the synergy between his books and his radio show is no longer there.

He has two more books scheduled to be published next year.

In Cleveland, Ohio, Bob Frantz had a number of advertisers, such as Harry Buffalo, a restaurant that hosted their anniversary celebration some years ago.
Unless they are chain restaurants, most local restaurant advertising is trade. In other words, the station party was traded out.

Otherwise, unless they pay in advance, local restaurants are notoriously bad pay and bad credit risks.

Right, I think security concerns often stop meet ups at restaurants and bars. One flake or drunk can cause problems …A couple of brokered sports shows in Vegas do remotes from bars sports books..A few gamblers can pay for the ads by their presence

Notice what Salem did! They REPLACED him. If they were doing this to save mone they would provide a repeat of another hos's program. They did this for either of two reasons, to replace him with cheap labor or he was TOO CHRISTIAN for this alledged Christian company which is only Christian enough to make the sale.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

Salem has religious stations and political stations ..but they seem to both have both …Neal Borzt ?libertarian said Salem would not run his show because he wasn’t against abortion.
