Salem To Sell Jacksonville Radio Stations

Hmmm... a company controlled by the founder's wife. What a sleight-of-hand. :mad:

Sounds like they just got the stations off the books of the "public" company to take off some of the heat from investors.

Why is Salem so attached to these pig AM stations that its officers wish to retain them by other means?

For being a christian based company, Salem is pretty sketchy. Walking around the building the past couple months has been interesting. As for the new folks that are taking it over... thats an interesting group. Slimey. They did not even know that 930 The Fox existed. They thought they were going to have the only AM sports talker. This is the move WOKV has been waiting for. JGR is going to mostly teach and preach.. basically 88.1 is putting all their shit programing on there since they are taking over the promise now. WYMM is going more towards teach and preach as well. Mike Dorwart isnt even having to work for ratings anymore.... good for him.

1320 WJGR Jacksonville, FL, actually showed up on the ratings? Boy, I've been asleep at the switch... I was worried they didn't draw enough revenue to buy paint for the two towers they broadcast from at 555 Radio Lane, Jax.

Epperson and bunch also owns WTOB in Winston Salem..Thus the Salem name and it's a real dog! used to be #1 in the Triad in the Heyday of AM.. Music 1380
