Well this has got to be David Bernsten former P.D. at WPRO.
I remember Bernsten had Rivers on and before that Rosie. Complete failures.
I would say this is Jim Corwin doing this. Bill George HJJ (P.D.) brought back local.
What a foolish move! Not 4 days after the Pro Jo story on HJJ, Glover, and local talk.
If anyone has Clear Channel Corprate e-mail address, PLEASE post it.
Time to let Texas know what Corwin has done to their R.I. station

Chatty, Why is it a foolish move for WHJJ to go back to local talk? I think it was a positive thing.
EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE on this board and in that building knew and did NOT hide the fact Air America was a disaster that was planned.It was like watching the movie "TITANIC". You knew the ship was going to sink but you watched the movie anyway.
I am not a big fan of Bill George's but I must give credit where credit is due.
WHJJ is sounding better than ever with thier current line-up.I'm listening more and more again.

I agree with you, I like local talk back on Whjj too.
Sally is not local, that was a stunt by David Bernsten and Jim Corwin.
Thats Bernsten letting the area know he's back ' Consluting' just like 'Holland Cooke' who
brought us Dave Barber.

Hi Chatty. Stunting or not.... I say that if a talent is in your studio and only on your station...... then that sounds pretty local to me.

There was nothing local or gripping about Sally,,,,,,, You know what, nobody can be that,,, never mind! ::)
 
How about Matt Allen over Crazy Arlene, Screaming Dan, or ancient Sally.
