SALLY JESSY Back in Radio

When does it air?

Is it on any other stations? (Which ones?)

Is the produced by Jane Fonda and Gloria Steinem's fem-talk network? (The CT station takes their shows.)

Do you have links to articles/releases about the show?

Fred,

There's no affiliate guide listed on her site http://www.sallyjr.com/

WXCT in Hartford (which says they should be streaming their signal over the net by the end of the month) carries the show 10AM-12PM. Their Operations Manager was talking about her show on his show this afternoon. He says he plans on having her up to the station for a pubic apparence. (They haven't updated the program schedule on their website yet).

WVIE in Baltimore hasn't updated the program schedule on their website yet either, but they have a link to Sally's website on their main page, so I'm unsure as to when they're airing it. According to Wikipedia WVIE is the parent station of her show.

Its also on NewsTalk 1060 WRHL in Rochelle, Illinois. Weekdays 10AM-11AM. They stream apparently. http://www.wrhl.net/

Thanks, Marc. I used to enjoy her call-in show on WMCA. I was less impressed with her TalkNet advice show or her TV show. I'm curious to see what she does with this show but I'm afraid it's likely to be chick talk.

She's had this show for many months now. It speaks to the relevance that people are acting as if it's new. I don't blame anyone here - it's just that she's basically syndicating it herself and doing a marginal job apparently.

The show airs 10-noon ET. Affil relations through Adam Wilbur's Wilbur Entertainment. Their only other show of significance in the talk genre is John and Jeff, based at KLSX/LA. They also handle Speed Freaks.

WVIE is likely replacing, at least partially, Laura Ingraham, who didn't fit in that well to begin with. WVIE will continue to be a non-entity as will all female-oriented chic chat on AM.

...so Three-Name Sally (as Tom Snyder called her when she led into his show on ABC) is back. Good for her. Now I wonder if she'll still throw a fly act if someone sides with the Palestinians, like she did on TV when Amy Goodman guested...
